Ola Horhe are an electro-acoustic duo that came to life in Belgrade in 2007. It includes a pianist Andy Pavlov on analogue synthesizers from the end of the ’70s and beginning of the ’80s, and a multi-instrumentalist Attack El Robot on drums. Today, we are presenting them to you as our label’s latest release, whose album (carrying the band’s name) can be downloaded right here exitmusic.tv

In the last three years, the duo have attracted a lot of attention, both by audience and the critics.

"Modern yet analogue, energetic and refined at the same time. Shortly, a unique phenomenon in domestic music scene."
Aleksandar Pavlic, web magazine Popboks.

"Dance Center Ola Horhe!
Simple repetitive beats immaculately added by El Robot to Andy’s dirty analogue psy synth collage. More-less, it’s simply art. The roots that you can see through Ola Horhe music undoubtedly stem from Kraut German scene, contemporary jazz, as well as electro/soul melancholy of the ’80s Detroit. French loung psy air pop 60s that can also be heard in their music raises the whole story to a higher level, where you can get whole cheerful answers to partial, gloomy questions. It’s a true ride, from the Earth’s core to the heavens, from dreams to sweet euphoria. Real creamy groove."
Plan B magazine (Croatia)

"The band’s program is mostly based on instrumental harmony, with but a few vocally enriched song, which is Andy’s part of the job. The sound itself is rather complex and versatile to the least. Some would call it electrorock, some psychedelic rock, and to me, it’s just one big combination of all that is good in all these music genres that gives out a very specific, distinct sound, one we don’t get to hear a lot around here." Mikrofonija (Zagreb, Croatia).

Their first recordings are songs "Hotel Moskva" and "Novi Meksiko", recorded for exhibition "Molimo vas ne uznemiravajte" ("Please Do Not Disturb") by art organization Dezorg from Belgrade.
