Question by Tiffany: Is it free to download apps to your phone?
I have a Palm Pre Plus from Verizon, it’s a smart phone and I don’t have a data package on it but I have Wi-Fi. Is it free to download apps from the app catalog or would they charge me. I’m looking to download free apps that don’t cost money.

If it is over WiFi, there’s no way that your cellular provider could charge you. They won’t be able to monitor traffic that is not on their network.
The thing that you could be charged for would be the price of the app, however there are enough free apps to satisfy your needs.
